Groups that meet on campus on Sundays or Wednesdays during our regular service schedule can take advantage of our nursery and children’s programs that we offer during those times. These groups will need to make sure that their meeting time reflects our program schedule.

For other small groups meeting off campus, childcare must be a priority, regardless of whether you have one or several families who have a need. As a group you must first decide whether childcare will be a group matter or if individuals should take responsibility for their own children. Once you have reached this decision, if you choose group childcare, then several questions must be taken into consideration: How will the childcare be paid for? Make sure all can afford this decision, or as a group be willing to help those who can't. Will you hire a sitter or take turns? Will the childcare be at the same house as your meeting, or will one home offer to house your childcare weekly? Will this location be convenient and acceptable for everyone?

With childcare, the main concern is to make sure that all needs are met, for both children and adults. Be creative!  This decision can make or break the success of your small group, based on dads and moms feeling comfortable with how their children are cared for during your time together.
