May Prayer Requests

Wow! April is history. From Florida to California, it was a fun-filled
fruitful month. God allowed great times of refreshing and fellowship.
Speaking engagements in Florida and Michigan went superbly. We had
wonderful times meeting new friends at Florida Bible Church in Miramar,
Grace Bible Church in Lake Worth, FL and Mayfair Bible Church in
Flushing, MI. We put 2000 miles on a rental car while in Florida &
South Georgia. Jenny got to attend a family reunion the day before
Easter. We had fun times as a couple visiting several state parks. In
the last week of the month, Mike was able to see many friends in
California while helping Regina to pack for home. They flew back
Saturday (30th) arriving home around 2 am Sunday. Thanks for praying and
caring.

May 7 is the long awaited day when Regina and Mike graduate together.
Regina earns her bachelor's degree in Communications and Mike receives
his MA in Intercultural Studies at Grace College and Theological
Seminary. He officially earned the degree last December. Mike's brother
Dave and wife Kathie will be there along with his sister Deena. Friends
in Winona Lake have graciously provided a place for all of us to be
together. They are having a reception for Mike and Regina after
graduation on Saturday.

Please pray for:
· Sunday meetings at Ganson Street Baptist Church in Jackson - AM & PM
services 5/8,22,29
· Sunday AM service at Community Bible Church in Manchester - 5/15
· Sunday PM service at Clinton Road Bible Baptist Church in Jackson -

· Graduation in Winona Lake, IN - travel safety and good times of
fellowship with friends and family May 6-7

spiritually challenging time with the graduating seniors and their
families, safety for students as they leave for the summer

Tuesdays
· Preparation time to rearrange older material for a family conference
in Colorado in early June - The conference is sponsored by Hope Church in
St. Louis, where Mike spoke in March.
· Wisdom in ministry decisions - there are several different choices
facing Mike in administrative areas that need to be decided in the next
week
· Physical health - we are not getting younger!
· Ability to see Regina pay off her $17,000 in college loans as quickly
as possible - She has a full time job beginning the second week of May
and will be living at home to help pay off the loans.
· Continuing wisdom for the leadership of the Mission and the Bible
Institutes as they discuss merging and relocating the two Bible
Institutes
· Wisdom in the administrative roles Mike has on the Academic
Management Team (he now oversees the teams of both schools) and on the
Jackson Administrative team.

A Short Note on Ministry Income

· God continually meets our needs. We are especially thankful as we
have had some substantial increases over the last couple of years through
churches and friends, plus frequent opportunities to do pulpit supply.
Though fully confident in God's provision, we know He uses His people to
meet our needs. We were recently asked by a supporting church if we were
continuing to contact churches regarding our needs. Because of that
question we felt it would be prudent to update you as to where we are
financially. We presently receive on average from all sources,
honorariums and mission support, around 70% of the recommended $4300.00
monthly support level set by the Mission as a standard for US home staff.
It is not easy for us to mention financial needs. God has always
faithfully supplied what we have needed over the years and there are many
who live more sacrificially and on less income then we do. Nonetheless,
we take this opportunity to let you know our present situation and ask
you to pray with us to see our support level brought closer to
recommended full support. We will be making an effort to approach some
new churches this coming summer with our needs. If you want more
information about our needs, or the mission recommendations, we will be
glad to provide more detailed information. If you know of churches that
would welcome a request from us for support please let us know.

· If you wish to personally support our ministry financially, send your
gifts made out to New Tribes Mission. Mail it to New Tribes Mission,
1000 E. First St., Sanford, FL 32771. State in an accompanying note or
letter that the funds are to be used for the ministry of Mike & Jenny
Sullivan, working in Jackson, Michigan. 100% of the funds you designate
for our ministry are placed in our Sanford account and forwarded to us
monthly after mission account expenses are deducted.

· Thanks for taking time to partner with us in this ministry. We are
thankful and privileged to have you as our friends and partners.

Mike, Jenny, & Regina
