April Requests
Praise the Lord for magnificent meetings in St. Louis this past month. It also opened the door for me to get us invited to a family conference in the Rockies in June. All the meetings went well. As far as classes go, I finish up Life of Christ this Tuesday. Thanks for praying for us. I found the message I prepared for Easter Sunday on the resurrection especially encouraging. We have such an eternal hope in Jesus Christ. We continue to be in the midst of some of the busiest months of our lives so this will be a brief list without the usual sermon notes at the end.
Please pray for:
o Regina as she enters her last and toughest month of studies at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center.
o Regina’s creativity, ability to interact with others, and her witness to her classmates and others with whom she works.
o Safety and fruit from our trip to Florida (March 29-April 14). Jenny is already in Georgia at her home. I will join her on Wednesday. We are seeking to make connections with all our supporting churches and individuals in Florida over the next two weeks.
o For us to be encouragement to all those with whom we come in contact.
o Meetings on April 3 - I am doing three services at Grace Bible Church in Lake Worth, FL.
o Meetings on April 10 - we are doing a 15 minute summation of our work in two services at Florida Bible Church in Miramar, FL.
o April 14 we return to Michigan.
o Meetings on April 16 in Flint, Michigan at Mayfair Bible Church. Jenny and I will both be speaking.
o Profitable curriculum sub-committee meetings April 19-20 at Waukesha, Wisconsin.
o Profitable time April 23-30 in California. Pray that I use my time in California well in visiting friends, alumni, and in helping Regina pack up and return to Michigan.
o Sunday services on May 1 at Ganson Street Baptist Church.
o Us to continue to grow in our faith and boldness for Christ.
o Us to be kept from complacency in the many responsibilities God has allowed us to have.
Words cannot fully express how much we thank you for caring about us and praying for our needs. God is using us in the lives of others and you are helping us in this ministry through prayer. God wishes to use each of us for His glory and to that end we pray for you regularly.
