Dear Friends and Supporters,
Here we are already in mid-summer and our visit to the States is so far
behind us. While in the States, we visited over 20 churches and 2 Christian
schools as well as several groups of university students. As a result, we
have Ramsey from Pharr, TX with us for the summer.

Ramsey went on the "Discovery Trip" and will be with us until August 24th.
Judy has been teaching him some French and he is making progress. He has
fit right in with us here.

Since we have been back from the States, the big project has been finding a
contractor to do the stucco on the front of our building. We decided on one
and he has started, but he is trying to use a material that we feel he has
never used before and is having a hard time getting it right. Please pray
that the finished product will be good. By the way, we have now planned the
Dedication (inauguration) for our church hall for October 16th.

This last week, we had a week dedicated to the finishing touches on our
Hall. There are a lot of small projects that we just had not gotten around
to doing. We only got about half of my list of things to do, done, but it
really makes a difference. We had several of our church people here to
help.

Rebecca came up to Paris in June for part of the college course that she is
taking and Judy went down and grand-baby sat for two weeks. Judy says,
"That was fun!" Then Judy and Rebecca came up to Lille for the week-end and
we got to spend some quality time with wonderful baby Simeon.

Nathanael has taken the entrance exams for next year. For the moment, he is
talking about re-doing this last year and hopes to do better next year on
these exams. Do pray for his future.

We have had a renewed contact with Francoise and her husband, Enric.
Francoise has trusted Christ, but needs to grow in the Lord. But her
husband is very much into a hodgepodge of religion and cannot come to
understand that Jesus is the only way. Do pray for him as well as for the
salvation of their son Edmond.

This school year at the Bible Institute ended well. Do pray for next year
that as there are a couple of possible new students in September.

Another prayer request is that there are some church problems in the church
in Paris, which are causing some problems between some of our co-workers.
Pray that these problems can be worked out. This could affect the work at
the Bible Institute as well as with our fellowship of churches.

We will be leaving this Monday (July 25th) for the family camp in central
France. Judy will be responsible for the kid's teaching program and I will
be doing two Bible studies for the teenagers as well as preaching a time or
two. After camp, we will go down to Montauban and exchange places with the
Silbersteins who will come up to Lille and this for two weeks. I will do
the preaching and teaching in Montauban and also we will be able to spend
some time with Samuel, Rebecca and Simeon in Toulouse. Samuel and Rebecca
are looking forward to our help with a children's 5-day club they'd like to
do for the unsaved children in their neighborhood.

To close this letter, we want to thank you for your prayers as well as
support for our ministry here in North France. This is a particular
difficult mission field, to bring a Frenchman to Christ is a modern day
miracle, but we have a God of miracles who "is not willing that any should
perish.". "For God so loved the world (even the French), that he gave His
only begotten Son."

Yours in Christ,
Greg and Judy Sirmons
