Savitri's Testimony

I was born into a Hindu family in August 1964. I am the second child of a family of five. My religious background was Hinduism. However, when I was six years old my parents allow me to go to Sunday school in my village of Caroni. During that time I learned about the Lord, and how he loved me and died for me We sang songs about how Jesus love the little children of the world. I did not understood everything neither did I stay long in Sunday school. As time went by I got married. My husband has some friends who were Christians. They had witness to him for about a year before he trusted Christ as Saviour. He told me what he did and I said to him I will follow him but he said you must trust in Christ and then follow. He then told his pastor about me. The pastor's wife witnesses to me several times. I trust Christ as my Saviour in 1989. Now I know that when I die heaven will be my home. Pray that God will give grace to continue telling the lost about this salvation which I have received.
