November/December 2003 Colon Report

About 150 people came to my special “Day in the Prophetic Word” conference. I shared my “Messiah in the Feast of Tabernacles” presentation. It’s been a while since I built that old Sukkoth (booth). In keeping with the theme, I spoke about the 1000 year Kingdom to come. Drs. Ress and Hersh did not attend, but keep them in your prayers. Hopefully, they will come to some other event.

PRAYER/PRAISE
Led my 45 yr old cousin to the Lord. Five days later she died. She had been suffering with a brain tumor. It was dear to me to see my cousin saved. I also shared the gospel with family members and friends at her memorial. As you recall from my previous reports, this has been some summer. People would come to faith and then die shortly thereafter. It definitely made me more aware of the hope that is in Christ.

At one Bible study there are about 45 to 50 Jewish people. Most are elderly, but now some of their children, plan their visits, so as to attend my sessions as well. There are times when I'm ministering to first, second and occasionally third generations of a Jewish family.

November is birthday time for Janis and Daniel. It's also mine. I turn 50. Oye vey! I’ve been planning for this midlife event for sometime. Finally, with some saving, trading and driving everyone crazy, I was able to come into possession of a new custom hand crafted tenor banjo! The style is one of five that presently exists on this planet (four went to Ireland). For those who know quality, yes it’s a Deering. Used it already to entertain some orthodox Jewish folks the other day. Should have seen them on “O Susanna!” As it was shared with me once, “a bald Bible teacher that sings and plays a banjo can’t be all that bad.”

Thank you all for you prayers and support. Have a wonderful and Joyest Christmas.
