Well, I just got back from our Porvenir trip.

We had a good group there, and the teaching seemed to go pretty well.
They actually had been expecting us the week before, as we had mentioned
that we might be starting back up on March 7th. I thought that they had
gotten a message that we weren't coming that week, but I guess they
hadn't heard. Normally dates don't mean too much to them, so I found it
encouraging that they were paying that close attention to the dates. It
shows that they definitely are interested.

On Monday we did a review of what we had studied previously, and today
we continued on, teaching about the Fall of Man, and the expulsion from the
Garden. Elvia also went along, and she was also able to start some literacy
classes there, and there seems to be a good group that wants to learn to read.
Yesterday she had a little meeting to see who was interested, and to do
a little "sign up" of those interested. At first it would have appeared
that they weren't interested, as they seemed a bit shy about signing up, but
by the time she began this morning, there were over 20 people there to
study.

Well, I think that is about all for now.
