Hi,
Well, Cindy went to see the doc the other day, and he ordered an MRI and some
other stuff, and wants Cindy to see the lung doc again as well.
So,she is working on getting that stuff taken care of. We would appreciate prayer
that she could get stuff done in a timely manner, and that it would be productive.
Here in Marueta, things are going pretty well.We had our meeting this morning, and
starting next week we will begin
having two Maco teachers each week, instead of one like we had been doing. We
aretrying to work toward them being able to handle more of the teaching on their
own. We will be heading out to Porvenir again in the morning, and would appreciate
prayer for us as we teach, and for the people as they listen. Ba'aliyu will
be teaching with me tomorrow.
On another note, previously I had asked for prayer as an investigation into the activity of NTM was requested. Please continue to pray that we would be able to continue working here without hindrance. There are some potentially very important meetings coming up quickly, which we would like to request prayer for.
One difficulty that we have, is that many people have a hard time believing
that we are here for the sole purpose of presenting the Gospel, and think we
must have ulterior motives. We would appreciate prayer that their eyes would
be opened, and that they would allow us to continue here. We also continue to
be short on fuel and LP Gas, so we would appreciate prayer that we could get
that soon as well.
Anyway, thanks much for praying.

Hi,
Well, we got back from Porvenir a little while ago, and had another good trip.
Our traveling group was a little smaller than usual, as several people are busy
working, but we still had 5 guys in addition to me. Ba'aliyu did pretty well
on his lesson, although I expect to see him do much better in the future. There
is still a good group there, with a lot of interest.
Next week, both Walikilo and Camico will be teaching, so they will probably
be teaching about as much as I will be. They have a little less than normal
amount of time to prepare, and I am sure they would appreciate your prayer.
I heard from Cindy that she had her MRI on Friday, and she said that it seemed to be very thorough. On Tuesday she should be able to check with the Doc to see if it showed anything. Also on Tuesday, she has an appointment with a pulmonologist who she saw before.
Thanks much for praying.

Hi,
Sorry this update is so long in coming out. Our email has been in very bad shape
lately, almost to the point that we are
unable to send out messages. For some reason, the signal is very weak these
days, and it has not only affected our email, but also our voice radio communications.
Well, Tomorrow, Cindy should be heading back down here. We would appreciate
prayer that she would have a safe flight, and that she wouldn't have any more
troubles. She should fly out here next Tuesday or Wednesday. From what I have
been able to hear with the email, she is doing pretty well right now.
Here in Marueta, things continue to progress. Joe and Jackie got back in here
last Thursday, and are getting settled back in. It is nice to have them back.
Our Porvenir teaching continues. We had a good time there last week, and many
of them seem to continue to have interest and to be understanding the teaching
well. I was thinking that I would like to give you some names and descriptions
of some of the people there for you to be praying for, but will wait till we
can send out email more easily. Our group continues to do pretty well, though
we do have our struggles. Netico decided that he won't travel with us for a
little while, though he will continue to meet with us here, while he works thru
some family issues. He would appreciate prayer.
This week, Mala will be teaching for the first time, and will be teaching a
little of the life of Christ. We would also appreciate prayer for him as he
teaches. The teaching continues here in Marueta also, and we continue to be
encouraged by the growth that we see in the believers.
Well, before this gets too long, I will sign off, as we are having email difficulties now. We would appreciate prayer that the email would begin working well again. Also, we are still quite short on Fuel and LP Gas. We hear that we are supposed to get some any time, but so far it hasn't materialized. We would appreciate prayer that it would be soon.
Thanks much for praying.
