Greetings Everyone, The meeting today was two hours long and the police lady did not ask us one question. She would only talk with our attorney. In the end, our attorney and the police worked out a statement for us to sign which stated very clearly our position as religious workers. No decision was reached. The bottom line is that regardless of what the law says, if the police want all of us out of the country then they can tell us to leave. So we will see how determined are those who oppose us. Really, in the end it is what God allows. He is in control. Thank you for your prayers, it means a lot to us. Rich Sent: Wednesday, June 15, 2005 2:52 AM
Hi Everyone, This prayer request came from good friends of ours who are holding an Evangelistic Campaign in the city of Varazdin. This was the same group that led the campaign here last week. Things are changing in Croatia as the Baptists and others become bolder in their evangelism, they are meeting resistance. Since this campaign is being led by Croatians, they cannot be threatened with expulsion. Therefore they have had their permit revoked. Just so all of you know how to pray and what we are experiencing here. In His love and ours, Rich, Paula and Wileen Dear friends, We need you to pray in the next eight hours. Today we started our second week of campaign. This week we are in Varazdin. About 15 minutes into a concert a city official pulled Boris out to inform him that our permit has been revoked and that we must take down all of our setup including a big tent that we rented. Please pray that as we appeal this order, that God would undertake on our behalf and that the permit will be reissued. We are scheduled to meet the city inspector tomorrow at 7:15 AM Central European Time. Tonights event was great, the tent was filled and many young people had an opportunity to hear the Gospel for the first time. Please pray for them as well. Please pray for Wendy as well. She has been experiencing severe cheek-bone / nerve pain and has seen the doctor today. In the next few days she will see a specialist to try to find the cause of this. Obviously, the Satan is working hard. Nevertheless, He that is in us is far greater and has already won. Praise be to our God. Your faithful servants, Boris & Wendy Subject: Monday Morning Report - June 20, '05
Greetings everyone, Tomorrow is a big day for the team here in Sisak. We start our TEFL
outreach in the Brzaj Bible Center and in the Moscenica Baptist Church.
Then on Tuesday, Baseball camp begins. Please pray for our students to have an open minds to learn English and open hearts to receive the gospel. There have been no new developments in our situation regarding our residence permits. We are going about our work and trusting the Lord. Thank you for your prayers and for the special notes of encouragement that so many of you write us. In His love and Ours, Rich, for the entire Declare team
